My adventures with Fran and Emily Burke
Although I'm a boy, and not even human, I became an honorary Girl Scout! My visit was with 3rd grade Brownie troop #2307 in Oglethorpe County. I received a very warm welcome and in between hugs and dances, the girls wanted to know why I was at their meeting. I explained my mission to help Athens Canine Rescue, so that started a huge discussion about the pets they had adopted and how they take care of them. We ate snack, played games and after the meeting some of the older girls from troop #2345 came by to say hi. After the troop meeting, the troop leader, Fran Burke and her daughter Emily invited me to spend the night. Before sleeping on their comfy couch, Emily gave me a piggyback ride upstairs to see her aquarium and read a bedtime story. They told me I was welcomed back anytime!

We had a friendship circle at the meeting. I have lots of new friends!

We all love to have our photo taken!

I went home with Emily, and we played together.

Emily has a cool fish tank in her room.

Emily read me a story before lights out!
