My adventures with Dianne Belch and her family
On August 25, I headed to Waycross, Ga., with Dianne to attend her Father's family reunion. Mae, Dianne's Mother, is a resident of Baptist Village, so that was our first stop. Saturday morning, the Belch family gathered for lunch and spent some time visiting while enjoying the rocking chairs on the back porch of the Village.

We went to Douglas Saturday night and met at The Catfish House for dinner. I got a fish bone stuck in my throat. Luckily there was a veterinarian in the restaurant and she performed the Froglich maneuver to save my life! It was a close call. We ate lunch on Sunday at the Village and then traveled back to Athens.

I signed lots of autographs and had a great time. Those South Georgia folks really know how to make a guy feel welcome!
