Adventures with Diane Cebula at Athens Banner Herald

Kermit is a great travel buddy. He is open to anything, is always patient and never once complained.

He enjoyed going to the World of Wonder and playing around. A lot of children came up to him to say "hello" and shake his hand. He really liked the monkey bars the best because it's not often a frog can hang upside down.

He was happy to see how many people recognized him when we were driving around. A lot of other drivers took notice of him, smiled and waved. He liked the friendly atmosphere of Athens.

Kermit was pleased with The Grit. The wait staff was friendly and understanding to a frog's diet. He was saddened to find out there were no fly dishes on the menu.

The double-barrel cannon was something Kermit had not seen before. He was not surprised to find out it did not work as well as was originally planned.

Kermit has a lot of relatives who are tree frogs, so he was happy to give it a-go at the Classic Center and see if it was the life for him. He decided to keep his feet grounded in stead.

Bear Hollow was a treat for Kermit. The wildlife were all very friendly toward him and it was nice to mingle with his animal brethren.

The State Botanical Garden was reminiscent of his old, swampy home with the amount of foliage. He liked having a chance to relax, lay down and think of all the things he saw in Athens.

Frog's eye view of the double-barrel canon.

Bear Hollow meeting the residents.

Eating out at the Grit. I sat outside cause they didn't have flies on the menu inside.
